Welcome to The Art of Romance avec your Host, Diane Lane

I would like to take a few minutes to introduce you to the show as we embark on this Art of Romance adventure together.

My background is in massage therapy.  I have been a LMT licensed massage therapist for many years.  I’ve expanded the licensure title of LMT, by making my own little catch phrase of being A Lover, A Mother, and a Teacher.   In the many years of being a lover, mother & teacher, I have listened to people speak of their relationships, whether they be long-term marriages, say 20, 30 or 40 years, as well the newly married, or as with my two girls, the dating experience.

One of my favorite things to ask a person ~ or a couple ~ is, What have you done to keep the romance alive?  Each and everyone has had a different answer.  I have heard everything from “good communication to great sex to she never makes me wrong to I always respond with Yes, Dear!”  What has really turned me on over the years are those couples whose eyes still sparkle when they speak of their Beloved.

I’ve always pined over the couple who have clearly lived a long life together and still hold hands.  Those are the people I wish to bring to this podcast.  Those with years of wisdom and those who still have fresh, playful relationships.  Those who might share with us how to spice it up or romance the stone.

From this podcast, I hope you become inspired to live a life inside the art of romance.  I hope my guests provide insights which resonates with you, and you are then you are then able to spice up your marriage.

Well talk about ……….

My goals are several.  But first and foremost, I want this to be your show.

In my interviews, I consider myself to be the audience.  And I’ll try to ask questions that I imagine you would want the answers to.  I am not a mind reader, so I would really appreciate if you would post comments and supply great questions to ask our guests.  On top of that, I invite you to nominate a couple to be on our show.  So, if you know of a couple who has something really special ~ for whatever unique reason ~ and you believe our listeners would benefit in some way, or simply be delighted with their story, contact me and let me know what you enjoy so much about them.  I’ll do everything I can to get them on the show.

It is my sincerest desire for you to love this show!  It is my intention which each show you walk away with at least one little thing to enhance the romance and/or bring more joy the the significant other in your life.  Life is too short to go threw miserably, and like any cook in the kitchen, sometimes it’s time to open a new cookbook.

Finally, in order to keep this show alive and thriving, I need you!  You are the only one that can make a difference in the success of this show.  First off, please subscribe.  Most importantly, this will tell iTunes that there is something about this show which is noteworthy.  It will also ensure you will get each and every episode for enjoying at your leisure. (my example of losing a podcast name of something I was really enjoying)

Second, give The Art of Romance a rating. For all I would love a 5 star rating, feel free to rate it as you see fit.  It doesn’t have to be a long one, but a I ask you to be authentic in why you like the show, which will then let those searching for podcasts know whether or not this show is up their alley.  Writing a review will also tell Itunes what you think of the show and give others an idea of why they may like it.  And, last but not least, share this with your friends on your favorite social media sites. Like and/or Follow The Art of Romance on Instagram, Facebook & Twitter.  Ah!  A note on this:  On Instagram and Twitter, my “handle” is L_ArtOfRomance.  This is my French translation and pronunciation.  All your kind efforts of sharing will be noticed by iTunes, which will then help me land on the New & Noteworthy section of iTunes Podcast.  Why do I want to be there?  Well, once we get noted, a whole new group of listeners will get the opportunity to hear our show. Which means we will be spreading the to a much larger audience. And, hopefully, around the world.  Wouldn’t that be great??  You can boast you were here first!

You’ve probably noticed I keep calling this our show.  Not as in me and my big company….it’s only me and a microphone on this end….and you….listening right now.  Its our show because we are sharing in this intimate experience, and if all goes as intended of and spreading the love.
